Special Issue on Systems Reliability Engineering (Selected papers of the International Conference of SRSE 2024)

This special issue will be a collection of extended papers from the 6th International Conference on System Reliability and Safety Engineering, held in Hangzhou, China in October 2024. The conference attracted more than 120 submissions (both full papers and abstracts) with about 200 participants from 10 different countries. In addition to a poster session and a nominated best student paper session, there were 12 presentation sessions with a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

• *Advanced Reliability Modeling and Intelligent Operations Management;
  *Reliability and Safety of Maritime Transportation;
  *Prognostics and Management of Health and Risk for Battery Systems;
  *Anomaly Detection for Safety-Critical Systems;
  *Remaining Useful Life Prediction and Maintenance strategies;
  *Advanced Theories and Industrial Applications, etc.

Authors who attended SRSE 2024 are encouraged to submit extended papers after taking the discussions which occurred during the conference into consideration. These papers will be reviewed through the usual process of Quality and Reliability Engineering International to ensure novelty and quality.
